I
graduated in May 2000 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a
Bachelor's Degree in advertising. I started at the Grand Island
Independent daily newspaper in May 2000 in the online department.
My first position was Internet Sales & Marketing Representative
where I sold online advertising and websites to customers. I also
helped clients decide on a vision for their advertising/website
ventures and provided on-going customer service.
My next position at the newspaper was titled New Media Producer. I was responsible for
developing advertising content and design for theindependent.com,
maintaining commercial websites and daily creation of multimedia
advertising.
I am currently employed with Rasmussen & Associates/Beavercreek
Marketing. Initially I am learning how to brand in-house developed
online education centers for the banks we do business with. I am
excited to explore the possibilities my employment with this company
will bring.
As for
the personal bit: I am single, I enjoy almost all
forms of music, going to concerts, organization, reading, eating lunch
with my grandma every day, surfing the 'net, design, interesting
conversations,
laughing, blogging, PhotoShop, spending time with friends and family,
keeping in touch with my inner child, living life, pop culture, playing
with my pets, singing, riding roller coasters,
collecting magazine ads, experimenting
with make-up, watching movies, the history channel, Sephora, traveling,
cotton candy lip smacker, Halloween... That's just the tip of the
iceberg.
