The Grand Island Independent launched a program called Simply Cookin' in 2007. The goal is to provide quick and easy recipes for people that don't have a lot of time to devote in the kitchen. There is both a print and online component to this venture. About once a month a selection of recipies are filmed on location at Ken's Appliance. I was the vidographer running the second camera for the show. I was responsible for filming the close-up shots to enhance the overall filming and give the viewer another perspective besides the wide-angle camera shots taken by the videographer running the main camera.
